Whilst The Pole Parlour class booking structure is flexible in nature, our class cancellation window is 4 hours prior to the commencement of the class start time. Any classes cancelled within the 4 hour period are forfeited.
Its your responsibility as a student of The Pole Parlour to manage your class bookings. This can be done via the Mind Body Online website or mobile phone app.
The Pole Parlour reserves the right to change or cancel a class up to and including the date of the course if sufficient bookings have not been received. In the event of a class or course being altered or cancelled every effort will be made to avoid inconvenience by offering alternative dates or times. If we are unable to offer a suitable alternative course, transfer/ refund of terms fees is strictly to the discretion of The Pole Parlour management.
Liability Release and Waiver
Pole Dancing is a Dangerous Activity I understand, acknowledge and agree that Pole Dancing is a dangerous activity and as such, has inherent dangers and risks, including risk of injury or death.
I further acknowledge and agree that due to the nature of Pole Dancing, it would be unreasonable for The Pole Parlour to be in any way responsible for any injury of any kind or death, and I hereby, to the full extent permitted by law, waive all legal rights of action against and fully releases The Pole Parlour, its directors, instructors, employees, agents, landlords, leases or franchisees (Related Parties) for the loss, damages, or injury howsoever arising out of or in relation to the participation by myself in the activities conducted or organised by The Pole Parlour including without limitation, liability for any negligent or tortious act or omission, breach of duty, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty on the part of The Pole Parlour or Related Parties.
I understand and acknowledge the dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol or any mind altering drugs before and during the activity and I take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage associated with their consumption. I agree not to drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law before or during in any activities conducted or organised by The Pole Parlour.
I agree that participating in any activity organised or conducted by The Pole Parlour is only allowed on the distinct understanding that I do so at my own risk.
Conduct I agree to follow the directions of the instructor and that any misconduct or refusal by me to follow any direction of the instructor can result in the cancellation of my lesson and my immediate removal from the class. I understand that any such non-compliance may result in injury of any kind whatsoever as a result of my failure to comply.
Health I acknowledge I have been advised to consult with my physician with respect to any past or present injury, illness, pregnancy or any other health related condition or any kind whatsoever that may affect my participation and ability to participate in the program. I acknowledge that I have discussed the appropriateness of the Pole Dancing program in connection with any illness or condition that I have or have had with my physician, and that I knowingly execute this release from liability and negligence.
I acknowledge that The Pole Parlour does not recommend that pregnant women participate in Pole Dancing.
Terms and Conditions
Prior to attending a class/course at The Pole Parlour, you agree to provide us with your full name, phone number, email address and next of kin contact details in case of emergency.
Teachers and classes may be subject to change without notice. If a class is cancelled you may be asked to choose another class. The Pole Parlour takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes.
By entering our dance studio you agree that The Pole Parlour is in no way responsible for injury or loss caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the studios.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and medically fit for the class/course that you are enrolling or enrolled in. During the class you must take care at all times of your own personal safety at all times and inform the instructor of any physical limitations you may have. It is not advisable for pregnant women to participate in a pole dancing program. Should you have a pre-existing medical condition or in doubt as to your suitability for this program, we recommend you consult your physician for medical clearance.
You must monitor the safekeeping of personal belongings while attending class, as The Pole Parlour does not take responsibility for lost or stolen property.
You understand that classes at The Pole Parlour may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.
You agree that you will not sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against The Pole Parlour or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
You agree to not drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law before or during any pole dancing lessons and activities conducted or organised by The Pole Parlour.
The Pole Parlour reserves the rights in all intellectual property, including but not limited to any moves, tricks, routines, course style and structure taught in any activities conducted or organised by The Pole Parlour. I understand and agree that I must not use or exploit any intellectual property owned by The Pole Parlour for personal financial gain in any manner, including but not limited to instructing or teaching Pole Dancing, without first obtaining the written permission of The Pole Parlour proprietors.
PARTICIPANTS OF MINORITY AGE
A parent/guardian with legal responsibility for the participant must acknowledge, understand and accept all of the above and consent to his/her release as provided above of all the Releases, and, for myself, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin, release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pole Parlour or Related Parties from any and all liabilities arising from the minor child‚ involvement or participation in Pole Dancing activities, even if arising from the negligence of The Pole Parlour or Related Parties.
Return/ Refund Policy
The Pole Parlour Returns Policy does not allow services including but not limited to classes, courses, workshops, parties, performances, private training appointments to be returned for monetary refund.
TPP apparel including but not limited to shorts, singlets, crops, kneepads etc, may exchange for a different size if in as new condition.
Classes are not transferrable to term to term or from student to student.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
